Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk professional to greet and register guests, manage check-ins/outs, and ensure an exceptional stay at our Houston location. You will handle payments, input data into the property system, and assist guests with inquiries and directions.

The role requires courteous communication, reliable cash handling, and the ability to respond to emergencies with calm, professional conduct in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficient calculator skills for moderately complex math.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and check them in/out via a computer system.
• Register guests, confirm details, and assign rooms while considering guest needs.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, balance cash and perform basic arithmetic.
• Answer phones with clear English and route messages.
• Resolve guest issues calmly and follow established guidelines.
