Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Front Desk Agent in Hope Hull to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and answer questions about rooms and local amenities. You will assist guests with reservations, relay hotel information, and coordinate with housekeeping and other teams to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, a professional appearance, and flexibility for shifts. Prior hotel or customer service experience is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Some college preferred.
• Preferred six (6) months related experience in hotels or customer service training.
• Must be able to work in team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide a helpful, professional greeting.
• Input and retrieve information from computer systems for check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Explain hotel services, rates and amenities to guests and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle payments, verify IDs, and balance the cash drawer according to procedures.
• Maintain a neat lobby area and communicate hotel needs with other departments.
