Job summary

Suburban Inns is seeking a Guest Service Representative for second shift with both part-time and full-time options. Weekend availability is required. The role focuses on delivering strong sales techniques and outstanding guest service, aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge: ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic; good communication skills.
• Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: high school diploma or equivalent.
• License, Training, and/or Certification Required: CPR Training (may be completed upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel welcome.
• Sell the property according to Suburban Inns’ sales standards.
• Gather guest data including addresses and payment information.
• Follow shift checklists to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Record special needs or requests and communicate incidents to next shift.
• Maintain a neat front desk workspace and address safety/ security issues.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile guest accounts.
• Provide information on hotel policies, services, and local area recommendations.
