Job summary

Hampton Inn Chicago–Midway Airport is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. You will manage check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest profiles using the PMS, while offering local tips and dining recommendations.

Applicants should have hotel or customer service experience and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A friendly, professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred; hospitality experience a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak check-in/check-out periods.
• Proficiency with computers; experience with hotel PMS systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide efficient check-in/check-out services.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest profiles in the PMS.
• Respond to guest inquiries with a service-focused attitude.
• Provide information about amenities, attractions, and dining options.
• Handle payments, verify IDs, and maintain billing records.
• Keep front desk area clean and welcoming; coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.
