Highgate Hotels’ Hampton Inn Fort Wayne is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing room revenue.

The role requires handling guest inquiries, cash handling, familiarity with rates and promotions, and knowledge of the Front Desk system. Strong communication and multitasking are essential in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of all rates, packages and promotions as listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and dates.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate Front Desk computer system.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for shift closing.
• Maintain promotions and guest programs.
