Qualifications

• Front-office experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance basics and medical terminology.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Allscripts Pro Suite is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Verify insurance information and collect demographic data.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals/authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and past-due balances while balancing cash drawer.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient information and EMR records.
