Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Boston's Back Bay is seeking a Guest Service Agent. You will welcome guests at check-in, assist during their stay, and handle checkout with courtesy while helping maximize occupancy and revenue.

The role requires strong communication, computer proficiency, and flexibility for long hours. Prior hotel or guest service experience is preferred, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• College course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk.
• Maintain PBX console operation and hotel standards.
• Answer inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages.
• Balance and prepare closing shift paperwork.
