Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and assist the General Manager in maintaining a clean, friendly club environment. You will manage front desk staff, ensure exceptional guest service, and coordinate shift coverage in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The role requires strong customer service and supervisory skills, with a focus on metrics, accountability, and training to promote career growth within the club.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisor or manager experience in a high-volume restaurant or retail setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and drive club metrics in alignment with business performance.
• Interview and recruit front desk staff; conduct initial phone screens.
• Assist General Manager and oversee front desk operations and shifts.
• Monitor inventory and review sales numbers with GM; adjust as needed.
• Ensure standards, cleanliness, and guest service; lead by example.
• Oversee audits and mentor front-end employees for growth.
