Planet Fitness in Willimantic, CT is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee front desk operations and assist the General Manager. You will ensure smooth day-to-day club activities, manage front desk staff, and deliver superior member experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 6 months supervisory experience in retail or hospitality, strong communication, and a willingness to cover evenings and weekend shifts. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience in fast-paced retail or restaurant.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive club metrics and performance with GM guidance.
• Oversee front desk operations and guest services.
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding front desk staff.
• Ensure cleanliness, staff attire, and service standards.
• Coordinate shift coverage and disciplinary actions with management.
