The Standard - High Line in New York seeks a Front Office Agent to warmly welcome guests and ensure seamless check-ins and check-outs with exceptional service. You will provide local insights to enhance guest experiences and support fellow team members across the Front Office.

The role requires 1–3 years in a similar position, strong English skills, and ability to work flexible hours in a high-volume, luxury environment. Join a culture that values hospitality and community.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Fluent in English.
• Open availability is required.
• Experience in a high-volume, high-end hotel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Handle check-in/out using Opera; verify room type and rate; review bills at checkout.
• Register guests, issue keys, provide hotel information and answer phones.
• Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately and balance cash and reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, bell staff and reservations for smooth operations.
• Provide guests with local dining/shopping recommendations and directions.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
