The Standard in New York is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests and ensure seamless check-ins and check-outs, using Opera. You will provide local recommendations and uphold exceptional service to enhance guest experiences at The Standard.

This full-time Front Office position reports to the Director of Front Office Operations/MOD. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, bilingual ability preferred, and a strong capability to work in a high-volume environment.

Formación

• Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions, preferably bilingually.
• Have at least 1 to 3 years of prior experience in similar position.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10s and 100s.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures using Opera. Obtain guest information and ensure correct room type and rate.
• Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Up-Sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
• Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.
• Coordinates transportation to and from the airport.
• Provide guests with recommendations for dining, shopping and local attractions.
