Position: Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities include:

  1. Completing all activities listed in the Front Desk checklist.
  2. Performing marketing duties such as upselling to generate additional revenue.
  3. Providing excellent service and satisfaction to hotel/restaurant guests and visitors.
  4. Following security and liability measures to protect hotel assets.

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
  2. Greet guests warmly, maintain eye contact, and respond to requests appropriately.
  3. Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities.
  4. Maximize occupancy and revenue through operational and selling techniques.
  5. Complete registration, confirm guest details, and process check-outs.
  6. Handle payments, verify credit cards, and maintain cash bank.
  7. Communicate effectively with hotel departments and management.
  8. Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and guest check-in/out.
  9. Understand and operate front office systems and handle guest complaints professionally.
  10. Work flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and provide excellent customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Six months experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged standing, repetitive movements, and handling objects.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual and physical stress management.
