Responsibilities
  1. Complete all activities listed in the Front Desk checklist.
  2. Perform marketing duties such as upselling to generate revenue.
  3. Provide excellent service and satisfaction to guests and visitors.
  4. Follow security and liability measures to protect hotel assets.

Essential Functions
  1. Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
  2. Greet guests warmly, maintain eye contact, and respond to requests.
  3. Provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  4. Maximize occupancy and revenue through operational and selling techniques.
  5. Complete registration and check-out procedures accurately.
  6. Handle payments, verify IDs, and manage cash and credit transactions.
  7. Communicate effectively with hotel departments and management.
  8. Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
  9. Understand and adhere to safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  10. Operate front office systems and respond professionally to phone inquiries and guest complaints.
  11. Work flexible hours as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for long periods, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual acuity and ability to operate in stressful situations.
Standards and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Six months of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
