Job summary

Tatsu Ramen in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Lead in Training to support shift operations and learn FOH and BOH duties. This part-time role offers hands-on leadership development in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will ensure food safety, assist with inspections, and help deliver exceptional guest service while rotating through FOH and BOH tasks. Flexible hours include mornings, evenings, weekends, and some travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of FOH or BOH experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Food Handlers Certificate.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Support management with day-to-day shift operations.
• Learn FOH and BOH operations.
• Ensure food safety practices are followed consistently.
• Be the point of contact during Health Inspector visits.
• Conduct quality checks of product/food.
• Check vendor deliveries for accuracy.
• Complete Health Inspection walkthroughs.
• Ensure guest and team safety per policies.
• Organize opening and closing duties.
• Address guest complaints professionally.
• Provide feedback on team performance.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Assist other locations as needed.
• Other tasks as specified by management.
