Job summary

Michaels is seeking an associate to help customers, locate products, and provide solutions in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle checkout with cash accuracy, engage customers in rewards programs, and support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Responsibilities include stock, planogram compliance, merchandise recovery, and in-stock optimization while following SOPs and safety guidelines. Evening/weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns; ensure in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact positively with others
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
