Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain product availability. The role includes fast checkout, cash handling, and participating in merchandising, stocking, and planogram upkeep.

The associate will help with omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS, engage customers in discounts and rewards programs, and support safety and policy adherence across shifts. Flexibility for nights and weekends is helpful.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers with locating products and solutions.
• Excellent cash handling and checkout speed.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and credit card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer surveys and feedback channels.
• Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties to keep shelves in order.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and assist with returns and go-back process.
• Support shrink control and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
