Job summary

Citizens in New York seeks a customer-focused associate to help clients with deposits, loans, and digital banking while building lasting relationships. You’ll assess needs, recommend solutions, and guide customers toward appropriate financial products.

You’ll engage in outbound calls, support cross-functional collaboration, and promote mobile/app banking to empower customer financial growth while upholding all policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Experience building relationships through in-person and phone interactions.
• Comfort using digital technology to support business goals.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Build relationships by understanding customers' financial goals and offering tailored guidance.
• Introduce digital and mobile banking platforms to customers and promote usage.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Conduct outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
