Job summary

Concessions International is seeking a kitchen associate to assist with food preparation and assembly. You will follow standardized recipes, prepare vegetables, meats, and other items, and ensure proper handling of all ingredients.

The role requires reading comprehension, basic math for measuring ingredients, and adherence to safety practices. Typical on-site food prep duties include washing, slicing, and labeling per standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with whole numbers and decimals
• Strong reasoning to follow written or verbal instructions

Responsibilities

• Process vegetables, meats, seafood, poultry and other food items for cooking
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure quality and consistency
• Ensure slicers, scales, refrigeration and cooking equipment operate correctly and at proper temperatures
• Review prep lists and prepare only items on the Daily Prep List
• Wash, peel, slice and mix vegetables, fruits or other ingredients for sandwiches, salads, soups, and garnishes
• Label, date, rotate and store all food products per labeling standards
