This is a full-time position at our Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods, requiring flexible day, evening, and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

1. Interview, select, and train new employees in coordination with Human Resources and Training Department.
2. Communicate with Buyers regarding merchandising, new product implementation, and appropriate pricing. Follow through promptly with Buyer directions.
3. Attend trade shows as required.
4. Coordinate with Human Resources regarding open requisitions, advertising needs, and other recruitment issues.
5. Coordinate promotions and special events, overseeing setup and execution to ensure success.
6. Manage activities such as cash management, employee scheduling, ordering of products, and employee training/performance to ensure an efficient division.
7. Maintain and oversee equipment maintenance, repair, and employee training related to all equipment.
8. Coordinate merchandising to develop new markets, increase market share, and maintain a competitive position.
9. Function as a working manager, performing all tasks necessary for smooth division operation.
10. Oversee department inventory for accuracy, quality, turn, and procedures.
11. Handle store security duties, including lock-up, opening, theft prevention, maintenance, and repair coordination.
12. Visit competitors to stay aware of market position.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial or retail experience required.
• Ability to work an average of 45-50 hours per week and adjust schedule as needed.
• Willingness to transfer to any SKH location as needed.
• Must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
