Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers with healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals in a fast-paced deli. You will ensure items are properly prepared, packaged and displayed with top-notch service.

Responsibilities include handling deli equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and fulfilling special orders while upholding safety and quality standards. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be dependable and reliable
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to answer phones and take special orders
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the deli area

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented well
• Fill, rotate, and display products
• Prepare special orders and party trays
• Operate deli equipment safely (meat/cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves)
• Keep the deli area clean, organized, and sanitary
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for quality and temperature
