The Deli Clerk will fill and rotate products, assist with special orders, and ensure high-quality presentation while delivering friendly, reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent; grocery/food service experience preferred.
• Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions in a team setting.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness.
• Fill, rotate, and display products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and according to standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
