Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and keep the Deli area clean and organized in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will operate deli equipment safely, prepare orders, rotate stock, and provide friendly service while complying with food safety standards. This role offers flexible schedules, store discounts, and opportunities to grow with a growing natural foods retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and Weights & Measures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays in the deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays as needed.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment and quality.
