Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced deli team. You will help customers select healthy options, prepare fresh meals, and keep the deli area clean and organized.

You will also rotate products, handle special orders, and operate slicers and other deli equipment in a safe manner. Applicants should be dependable with a friendly demeanor, capable of flexible scheduling, and comfortable working in cold and warm environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; grocery/food service experience preferred.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are well-prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Rotate and maintain product displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves and other deli equipment safely.
• Keep deli area clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Receive and log shipments for quality and temperature control.
