Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years general office experience preferred.
• One year customer service experience preferred.
• Strong phone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative/clerical functions including filing, copying, imaging, answering phones, data entry, and mail/distribution.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Provide accurate information and assistance to customers, including determining pickup/delivery needs and selling services.
• Enter freight shipment information into the computer system, generate/adjust freight bills as needed.
• Administer freight pickup process and assist customers via phone, email, or fax.
• Make freight delivery appointments and coordinate driver interactions.
• Review Hours-of-Service logs and report discrepancies.
