Job summary

19 Logistics is a freight brokerage seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Claims Administrator to ensure accurate invoicing, timely claims resolution, and efficient financial operations within the FreshEdge family. The role emphasizes precision, accountability, and supporting growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in freight brokerage, transportation, logistics, dispatch, sales or related field.
• Experience pricing and moving Dry Van and Temp-Controlled freight; knowledge of food/beverage supply chains preferred.
• Proficient with CRM and ERP systems, Produce Pro, Microsoft Office and common email systems.

Responsibilities

• Cold call, qualify, and close new shipping clients in food/beverage and temperature-sensitive freight.
• Quote competitive rates, manage RFPs, and advise on spot market trends.
• Negotiate carrier rates while maintaining company margin and profitability objectives.
• Coordinate pickup/delivery schedules and monitor shipments from start to finish.
• Enter and maintain shipment, customer, carrier, and pricing data in the TMS.
• Assist with billing, documentation, disputes, and freight claims resolution.
