Job summary

Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings is seeking a rate negotiation and carrier-management professional in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate with customers, carriers, and leadership to optimize freight terms and throughput.

You will analyze market changes, sustain growth targets, and ensure effective communication across teams while maintaining policy compliance and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in customer accounts and/or operations and/or billing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Results oriented and entrepreneurial with proven ability to meet revenue targets.
• Familiarity with TMS and brokerage systems.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates for KNX's Logistics Division (3PL & Brokerage) and optimize carrier partner relationships.
• Provide recommendations on rate adjustments on lanes based on market changes.
• Drive growth initiatives and deliver on profitability targets.
• Analyze the freight market to maximize profit and negotiating power per transaction.
• Coordinate between customers' transportation personnel and head office.
• Manage the end-to-end process from booking with outside carriers to delivery.
