Knight Transportation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Bid Coordinator to support the pricing team, process bids, and ensure accurate publications of customer rates. The role involves coordinating bid responses and maintaining bid logs while collaborating with Sales, Operations and Billing to meet tight timelines.

You will handle background and statistics sections, format bids, and assist on pricing projects, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic trucking environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in billing or customer accounts.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Associates in business or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and report generation.
• Ability to interpret user needs and translate into system requirements.
• Ability to understand system data and identify discrepancies.

Responsabilités

• Complete administrative duties required for processing bids and support pricing team.
• Review customer documents and format new bids in standard format.
• Coordinate and submit bid responses per customer timelines.
• Interact with Sales, Operations and Billing; support administration activities.
• Assist pricing team with ad hoc requests and projects.
• Communicate with Sales, Operations, Billing and Customers regarding pricing.
• Update and maintain the bid log system and bid database.
