Job summary

Swift Transportation is seeking a logistics professional to negotiate freight rates, build carrier partnerships, and optimize lane profitability. You will analyze markets, manage end-to-end transportation from carrier pickup to delivery, and align customer strategies with company goals.

You should bring 2+ years in brokerage/transportation or related sales, plus knowledge of TMS systems. Expect a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Two years brokerage-related/transportation experience or two years in sales, inside sales or customer service.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and 3PL.
• Must be results oriented and able to meet revenue targets.
• Familiar with TMS and brokerage systems; must be self-confident and a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates and optimize carrier relationships to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Analyze freight market, capacity, and lanes to maximize profit and negotiating power.
• Manage the full process from carrier buy to customer delivery, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Communicate market changes and opportunities to leadership and partners.
• Support Swift strategies by integrating customer transportation plans and KPIs.
• Travel as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
