Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia Inc is seeking a Transportation Support Specialist to assist the SFLC ALD with shipment coordination and data entry. You will review interfaces between FEDEX.com and NESSS, track shipments, and assist with billing and routing tasks.

This role requires attention to detail and ability to work with government freight documents. Candidates should have at least two years in transportation/inventory management and experience with shipping systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of transportation and inventory management experience.
• Experience with transportation and inventory management software (e.g., NESSS).
• Experience with shipping logistics systems and carrier booking portals.

Responsibilities

• Assist SFLC ALD with transportation services and data entry for shipments.
• Review electronic data interchange between FEDEX.com and NESSS.
• Prepare bills of lading and perform basic rating and routing duties.
• Pre-audit freight bills for accuracy and maintain tariff files.
