Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a detail-oriented billing and OS&D clerk to join our Dallas team. You will handle high-volume calls, verify bills against the bill of lading, and prepare all paperwork for OS&D freight, ensuring accurate records and timely resolution of issues.

You will coordinate with customers and service centers to schedule deliveries, respond to billing inquiries, and trace shipments while maintaining professional communication.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Computer skills; proficient in MS Word and Excel required.
• AS400 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good clerical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to proceed on regular tasks with occasional direction.

Aufgaben

• Answer high-volume telephone calls with accuracy.
• Maintain item counts against bill of lading and record discrepancies.
• Prepare paperwork and repack OS&D freight.
• Maintain records of OS&D freight issues for management.
• Coordinate delivery times with customers for freight.
• Respond to inquiries about bills and proofs of delivery.
• Investigate and respond to overages, shortages, and damaged freight.
