Job summary

OEC Group is seeking a Sales Account Executive (Logistics Consultant) to drive new business, manage the complete sales lifecycle, and act as a trusted advisor for freight forwarding needs. Based in Santa Ana, CA, the role offers a base salary of $45,000–$80,000 with uncapped commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

Travel locally for client meetings and collaborate with CRM specialists to build a presence in the local market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a freight forwarding role required.
• Experience selling ocean and/or air services preferred.
• Experience using CargoWise One preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit; team player; problem solver.
• High emotional intelligence and communication skills.
• Professional email and phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations, etc.).
• Present OEC Group's service offers: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management (based on monthly salary).
• Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local market.
• Maintain communication with internal teams as well as overseas offices.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
