Job summary

White Recruitment Limited in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new freight forwarding and logistics growth across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, and Supply Chain Solutions throughout Southern California.

You will identify opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and develop relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and distributors while collaborating with operations to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development or sales in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and international shipping.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Existing industry contacts are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new freight forwarding and logistics business.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
• Work with operations teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets.
