Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group is seeking a dispatcher to execute a daily plan for the movement of freight within an assigned area. You will coordinate drivers, manage schedules, and liaise with customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include monitoring orders, communicating with suppliers and dealers, handling inquiries by phone and email, and maintaining dispatch records in the system. This role requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent conflict resolution and skills.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute a daily plan for movement of freight within an assigned area.
• Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries.
• Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers.
• Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets.
• Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors.
• Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts.
• Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members.
• Monitor web portals for station inventories.
• Solicit freight from customers.
• Create loads in dispatch system.
• Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members.
• Enter incidents into KITS (incident reporting system).
• On-call duties as needed.
