Job summary

The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher to streamline freight transportation, focusing on reducing shipping times, expediting routes, and maximizing loads. The role coordinates with dispatchers, fleet managers, and customers to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities include developing daily operating plans, monitoring KPIs, and managing day-to-day activities for up to 75 drivers, while collaborating with terminal leadership to optimize assets and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics dispatch or scheduling preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shipping operations with dispatchers and fleet managers.
• Develop daily operating plans to meet KPI targets.
• Evaluate and adjust plans for payload and on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with Scheduling Team Leaders on growth and improvement.
• Manage day-to-day operations for up to 75 drivers.
• Coordinate maintenance with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and other departments to ensure efficiency.
