Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group is seeking a transportation operations professional to streamline freight processes and maximize efficiency. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating transport services to improve on-time deliveries and asset utilization.

Responsibilities include collaborating with dispatchers, fleet managers, and the scheduling team to optimize routes and loads, while maintaining effective communication with customers and drivers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent business experience.
• Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred (NOT required).
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan and carry out shipping operations.
• Develop daily operating plan with emphasis on KPI achievement.
• Evaluate operating plans focusing on payload, on-time deliveries, and loaded mile percentage.
• Engage daily with Scheduling Team Leader on growth opportunities for KAG assets.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
• Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers.
