Qualifications
- Experience in freight brokerage sales or transportation business development preferred.
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and close deals.
- Existing shipper relationships are a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new shipping customers nationwide.
- Develop relationships with shippers, logistics managers, and transportation decision-makers.
- Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Identify contract freight, dedicated lanes, spot freight, and RFP opportunities.
- Negotiate profitable freight opportunities and establish long-term customer relationships.
- Build and grow a consistent portfolio of shipping customers.
