Job summary

Infosoft Inc. is seeking an experienced Freight Brokerage Manager for onsite duties in Long Beach, CA. You will oversee long-haul freight brokerage operations, manage carrier relationships, and coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely service and profitability.

You will negotiate rates, manage accounts, use TMS/CRM systems, and support port-related transportation tasks while driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of long-haul freight brokerage experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of drayage booking experience.
• At least 3 years of customer service in trucking or related industry.
• Knowledge of lane pricing, spot rates, contract rates and accessorial charges.
• Experience negotiating carrier rates and sourcing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with an assigned network of motor carriers.
• Quote spot and contract freight rates based on market conditions and lane data.
• Secure long-haul capacity through carrier networks and load boards (DAT, Truckstop).
• Negotiate carrier rates and manage shipment-level margins.
• Book, dispatch, and monitor long-haul and LTL shipments end-to-end.
