Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• AS400 experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work regularly on tasks with occasional direction.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones with a heavy call volume and direct calls with accuracy.
• Maintain count list of items received or shipped and check against bill of lading.
• Prepare paperwork and repackaging of all OS&D freight.
• Maintain records reporting OS&D freight issues to management.
• Coordinate delivery times with customers for freight delivery.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding bill of lading and proof of delivery.
• Investigate billing or service issues and follow up with customers.
• Process claims, charges and tracing of freight.
• Transfer information from bill of lading to bills for movement.
• Maintain OS&D area, stay compliant with company policies.
