Job summary

Brex, the intelligent finance platform, is seeking a Fraud Operations Associate in Seattle. You will manage daily workflows for transaction fraud, first-party fraud, and account takeovers, driving risk-based decisions and improving efficiency in a rapidly growing operation.

This hybrid role requires three in-office days per week (Mon, Wed, Thu) and up to four weeks of remote work per year. You’ll collaborate with Policy, Data Science, and Engineering to enhance tooling and scale fraud operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fraud, risk or related operations role.
• 1+ year of experience leading projects or workstreams end to end.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to investigate issues, spot trends, and support decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including with cross-functional partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a team on projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage associate level queues for the Fraud Operations team and develop scalable processes.
• Make risk-based decisions on high-value transactions and account offboardings.
• Drive reductions in fraud losses and improve internal efficiencies through automation and AI tooling.
• Collaborate with Policy, Data Science, and Engineering to scale internal operations.
