Job summary

International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) is seeking a District Operations consultant to guide franchisees and the Operations team toward achieving short- and long-term company goals.

You will leverage restaurant operations knowledge to counsel owners on improving sales, profits, standards, and systems while maintaining customer expectations. Responsibilities include developing district business plans, supporting franchisees’ marketing and development, and ensuring adherence to ADQ’s operating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or a related field or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
• 4+ years of restaurant management or franchise operations experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Familiarity with the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, marketing, finance, training, HR and development.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with cross-functional ideas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and Operations to achieve company and operational goals.
• Develop and execute district-level business plans including marketing, operations and supply chain.
• Advise on marketing performance and partnerships with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
• Position franchisees for optimal shift management, food safety, quality, service and atmosphere.
• Support new and existing franchisee development and reinvestment strategies.
• Assist with other departments and new store openings as needed.
• Complete Ad Hoc projects as required.
