International Dairy Queen Inc. (IDQ) is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant to guide franchisees and Operations teams from Crown Point, Indiana, to achieve short and long-term goals.

You will apply restaurant operations knowledge to improve sales, profits, standards, and customer experience while ensuring policy compliance. The role involves planning, consulting with franchisees, and cross-functional collaboration, with a base US salary range and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or a related field or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
• 4 or more years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management.
• Thorough knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Proficient knowledge of marketing, finance, training, human resource, and development.
• Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Creative thinker who can quickly develop innovative ideas across business units.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate concepts and programs to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
• Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Plan district-wide business plans and implement the Worldwide Operation’s plan for a district.
• Provide counsel to franchise owners to support ADQ’s Operations and Marketing Plan.
• Offer marketing and operational guidance to franchisees to improve performance.
• Support other departments and assist with openings and ad hoc projects.
