International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) seeks an experienced Operations Consultant to guide franchisees and the Operations team toward achieving District and company goals. Leverage restaurant operations knowledge to counsel, improve sales, standards, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or related field or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
• 4+ years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume preferred) and/or franchise operations management.
• Clean driving record.
• Thorough knowledge of the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Proficient knowledge of marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development.
• Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Creative thinker with ability to develop innovative ideas across business units.
• Strong communication skills, clearly articulating concepts to diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests.
• Relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
• Ability to travel overnight 2 weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and Operations team to achieve goals.
• Utilize knowledge of restaurant operations to counsel franchise owners and improve sales and standards.
• Ensure compliance with IDQ policies and standards and gain support of franchise leadership.
• Provide support to other functions and engage experts as needed.
• May assist with new store openings and complete ad hoc projects.

Education
