Job summary

International Dairy Queen Inc. (IDQ) is seeking a Franchise Business Consultant located in Crown Point, Indiana to guide franchisees and the Operations team toward short- and long-term goals.

You will leverage restaurant operations expertise to counsel owners, optimize sales, ensure standards, and drive marketable improvements. The role requires multi-unit restaurant experience, strong communication, willingness to travel, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or related field.
• 4+ years of restaurant management (multi-unit/high volume) and/or franchise operations management.
• Thorough knowledge of the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Proficient knowledge of marketing, finance, training, human resource, and development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for franchisee and staff meetings/visits.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and Operations team to achieve goals.
• Plan and execute district business plans including marketing, operations and training.
• Advise on marketing performance and franchisee partnerships.
• Support other departments and assist with new store openings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IDQ policies and operating standards.
