Job summary

International Dairy Queen Inc. in Crown Point Indiana seeks a Franchise Business Consultant to guide franchisees and the Operations team toward short- and long-term goals, applying restaurant operations expertise to boost sales, profits, standards, and customer experience.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years in restaurant management or franchise operations, strong communication, ServSafe certification, and willingness to travel about two weeks per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management or related field or equivalent restaurant operations experience.
• 4 or more years of restaurant management and/or franchise operations management.
• Thorough knowledge of the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Proficient knowledge of marketing, finance, training, HR, and development.
• Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for franchisee and staff meetings (approx. 2 weeks/month).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to franchisees and Operations team to achieve goals and standards.
• Develop district business plans integrating marketing, operations, training, and supply chain.
• Counsel franchise owners to improve sales, profits, and customer experience.
• Partner with ADQ staff to position franchisees for development, reinvestment, and renewal.
• Provide support to other departments and may assist with new store openings.
• Be available for evening/weekend hours to meet business needs.
