Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead in White Marsh, MD to coach a team of framers and drive custom framing sales. The role involves leading SOP adherence, developing selling behaviors, and ensuring on-time delivery of framing solutions.

The position emphasizes KPI attainment, inventory and safety program management, and customer service excellence in a public retail environment. Nights, weekends, and early mornings are possible.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to achieve their KPI’s.
• Review sales and production workload and plan staffing and floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
