Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Store Lead Framer in the Baltimore area to guide and coach a team of framers focused on delivering high-quality custom framing solutions and exceptional customer service. You will drive sales through coaching and development of the team, ensuring framing projects are completed accurately and on time.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration with store management, and adherence to SOPs while maintaining a safe and welcoming customer

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Drive custom framing sales.
• Assist customers in creating a memorable framing solution for their art.
• Manage and coach the framing team to achieve KPI’s.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
