Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Store Manager on Duty/Framing Supervisor to lead the framing team and uphold SOPs while delivering high-quality custom framing solutions.

You will coach staff, manage workload, oversee inventory, shrink and safety programs, and partner with MODs to meet KPIs. Retail management experience and ability to lead a sales team are preferred; regular nights and weekends may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and policies execution.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of custom framing solutions to customers by planning workload with Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink, and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Interact respectfully with others and model company values.
