Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store leadership role in Falmouth, MA to coach a framing team and drive custom framing sales. You will support the Store Manager in SOP compliance, staff development, and operational excellence while delivering high-quality framing solutions to customers.

The role emphasizes team leadership, inventory control, and adherence to safety programs, with hours that may include nights and weekends. This position is rooted in customer service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors; lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking; manage inventory and shrink and safety programs.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new Team members; participate in Performance Mgmt. activities; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed and completed within budget.
• Interact with customers, provide solutions, and assist with Omni channel processes.
