Job summary

Michaels in Stoneham, MA, is seeking a Store Manager to lead the framing department and store operations with a customer-first approach.

You will coach the team, plan workload, ensure SOP adherence, manage inventory and shrink, and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions while driving sales, KPIs, and a positive store culture. This role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends, and a commitment to safety, training, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead high-quality custom framing solutions and plan workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan staffing.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of team members.
• Promote the company's vision and values; be a positive role model.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
