Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Retail Sales/Custom Framing Manager in Falmouth, MA. You will lead a team of framers, drive custom framing sales, and partner with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality framing solutions for customers’ art.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring SOP adherence. You’ll oversee a busy frame shop, assist with onboarding and talent development, and model respectful, customer-focused service in a climate-controlled retail

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales or framing team in a retail setting.
• Strong coaching and customer relationship skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with store systems.
• Preferred: prior custom framing or retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the framing team to drive sales and customer solutions.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to meet KPIs and framing goals.
• Oversee inventory, shrink and safety programs, and SOP compliance.
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, and performance management.
